| The Dragon Clans |
| |
On the top of the Mendip Hills, not far from Glastonbury, at Priddy, is an ancient burial site, a remnant of a lifestyle long forgotten. |
| |
Ten thousand years ago, the Dragon clans lived all over Europe. In the winter months, with their livestock and their grain harvest, they secured themselves in villages on high ground, away from the flood plains. |
| |
In the summer they settled on low pastures, in temporary dwellings, where they grew grain and vegetables, and enjoyed the abundance of the Earth's blessings. |
|
|
|
They migrated in circular patterns, and gathered together for ceremonies at locations held as sacred. Their practices were closely linked to the cycles of the moon, and of the sun. From Galicia to Bohemia, from Ireland to Serbia, dolmens, tombs and medicine wheels of stone echo the teachings of the dragon clans. |
